pinkpool sind eine Nu-Punk-Band aus Berlin, gegründet von akademisch ausgebildeten Musikstudierenden mit einer unheilbaren Leidenschaft für Punkrock. Ihr Sound ist eine hochexplosive Mischung aus rohem Emo, technisch versiertem Prog-Metal und eingängigem Pop-Punk: schnell, kantig, kompromisslos – und auf der Bühne ein absolut unberechenbares Live-Spektakel.
Komplett unabhängig und in Eigenregie hat sich die Band innerhalb kürzester Zeit eine beachtliche Community aufgebaut. Über 350.000 Spotify-Streams, 42.000 Social-Media-Follower und eigene Headline-Minitouren durch Rumänien und Deutschland prägten bereits ihre ersten gemeinsamen Monate. Im Jahr 2026 legte die Formation nach: Mit 27 Europa-Shows, Support-Auftritten für Vița de Vie in Rumänien sowie für Alien Ant Farm in den Niederlanden – passend zum Release ihrer vierten Single „catch me later“ – zementierten sie ihren Status in der Szene. Belohnt wurde dieses Ausnahmejahr unter anderem mit einer staatlichen Künstlerförderung der deutschen Initiative Musik.
pinkpool is a young nu-punk band from Berlin formed by academic music students helplessly in love with punk rock. Raw emo blended with elements of prog metal and pop-punk shapes their fast, edgy, and tight sound that becomes even crazier live.
Fully independent and self-managed, they built a big online following fast: over 42k followers across socials and 350k+ streams on Spotify. Their debut single „wrong“ took them on a mini tour to Romania in basically their first month as a band, „second 2 fast“ got them the opening slot for Vita de Vie, one of the biggest alternative bands in Romania, and „away“ and its music video brought appearances on Rock FM, Magic FM, and TVR in Bucharest along with a first headline run in Germany. Across 2026 the band played 27 shows around Europe, from sold-out club nights to festival stages of a thousand people, and with their fourth single „catch me later“ they supported California’s legendary Alien Ant Farm in the Netherlands. That same year pinkpool was awarded a grant from Initiative Musik, Germany’s national music funding, supporting the next round of recordings and touring.
